a. For your homework assignment you will look at who or what should be blamed for the atrocities of WWI. You will do this using the following website: https://sites.google.com/site/causeofthegreatwar/home
b. You will go to the pages of the website and follow the links to analyze potential causes of the war.
c. Take the class to the computer lab to introduce them to the website and the assignment
G. Independent Practice
a. Continue exploring the website at home and then write an essay that argues who or what caused the war.

ReplyDeleteCool idea for a lesson! In reality, what you have done in a way is created your own webquest. The only difference is that with webquests, you can contribute them back to the webquest database to share with other teachers (and search for things from other teachers that you want to use yourself!).
